So, it's been awhile, crap.

I still draw, I just haven't been able to find the time/eqipment to get stuff posted on here. I live in the Seattle Area now, and after dropping out of school a year or so ago, things are, well, going nowhere. I want to change that.

What I really want to do, is this. I have these ideas bouncing around in my head. Lots of them, not quite sure how they fit together. I want to put them down in drawing, mabey graphic novel style. This requires me to do work, planning, and perceverence. Somehow, I'll dredge the willpower to do it and not succumb to lethargy, as has been my habit of late [work, zone out on internets, watch some TV, sleep]. I think I *need* to do this, so I don't become a shell of a person, or something. Yes, I know, very emo-angst. I hate it too. (don't you love the self loathing? What a load of crap... err, yeah)

I'm not going to continue whining and crap, because it pisses me off. [yeah, I just bitched again. hit me.] I read these stories like Y - The Last Man, Demonology 101, Zebra Girl, Neuromancer, various Neal Stephenson books, and I see the life that gets poured into them. I want to do that too, and I think with practice, I can make something of my skills, instead of letting them go to waste.

Now, I have to be honest. I don't like most of what is in my DeviantArt gallery. It's pretty tame, posed, dead, blah blah blah. It's pedestrian. I need to come up with something that captures life. That tells a story. So, I'll try to do that from now on. No more solitary figures on a white background. Thats kiddie stuff. Gotta move on. Gotta broaden my horizons.
